Daniel Ofer is the CEO of Zodiac Maritime within the Zodiac Group, an international shipping enterprise operating a diversified fleet of over 180 commercial vessels across 11 offices worldwide. (Find out more about Zodiac Group). Daniel Ofer has overall responsibility for Zodiac Maritime’s bulk carriers, container ships, car carriers, chemical carriers, and gas carriers.
Zodiac is part of the wider Ofer Global group, a multi-generational private portfolio of international businesses active in maritime shipping, real estate and hotels, technology, banking, energy and large public investments. Before joining Zodiac Maritime, Daniel Ofer worked as a banker in Credit Suisse’s Structured Finance division in New York. He holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from London Business School.
Daniel Ofer is a non-executive board member of the UK P&I Mutual Insurance Association, an advisory board member of Lloyds Register and co-founder and board member of Education Opportunity Fund providing last dollar scholarships.
